How the classification works

To produce this ranking, Le Figaro approached the 38 business schools awarding the master's degree for their Grandes Ecole programs and sent them a questionnaire.
To do this, establishments are assessed on three separate criteria:

  • Their academic excellence
  • Their international influence
  • Their relationships with companies

Ranking scores are displayed out of 20.

Academic excellence

This category takes into account several specific elements:

  • The duration of the master's degree
  • The quality of faculty
  • The support rate and the search for the school
  • The quality of teacher-researcher publications
  • Performance in the Shanghai ranking

International

Le Figaro based itself on the rate of teacher-researchers who graduated abroad and the share of foreign graduates. The international mobility of students, the number of countries accessible for exchange as well as students in double degrees were evaluated.

Corporate relations

The criteria taken into account are the following:

  • Salaries after school
  • The reputation of the schools with employers
  • The turnover of the junior-enterprise
  • The presence and engagement on professional networks (LinkedIn)
  • The number of former school winners of the Choiseul 200

The ICD BS ranks 32nd business school in France overall and 11th among post-baccalaureate business schools with a score of 13/20, up 0.7 points.
