Higher education studies require a major financial investment and we understand just how important a consideration this is for you and your family. In this section you’ll therefore find 5 different categories of financing solutions available to you.

HOW TO FINANCE YOUR STUDIES AT THE ICD IN 5 POINTS?

 

BURSARIES & SCHOLARSHIPS

A variety of bursaries or scholarships can be awarded or deducted from tuition fees:

  • Honorary bursaries: students can be awarded annual bursaries to a maximum of 1000 € according to different criteria: academic assessment and performance, income related situation and family context.
  • Academic scholarships: 500 € for high school leavers obtaining the equivalent to 16/20 or more in the French Baccalaureate and 250 € for the equivalent to 14/20 or more. 
  • Sports scholarships: 500 € for students with elite athlete status (statut de sportif de haut niveau - S.H.N) and taking part regularly in competitions. 
  • International mobility (internship and academic study abroad semester in Europe): an Erasmus grant is awarded by the European Commission to finance a part of your trip or stay in higher education institutions having signed an Erasmus+ Charter agreement.

PERSONALISED FINANCING SOLUTIONS

Tuition fees can be paid in 3 or 6 installments to benefit from reduced monthly payments.
There is an upfront payment discount of 2% if you pay your annual tuition fees in full before or during registration.

 

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PAID INTERNSHIP WORK EACH YEAR AS OF YEAR 1

If you do an internship lasting for more than 2 months in the same company, you will be entitled to a monthly gratuity (for 2019, equivalent to 3.75 euros / hour or 577.50 euros / month full-time).

During their undergraduate studies, ICD students benefit from 10 months of internship experience: 2 months in year 1, 4 months in year 2 and 4 months in year 3.

 

1 DAY FREE PER WEEK SET ASIDE FOR STUDENT JOBS

This solution enables you to sign a part-time employment contract.  The staff in our Business Engagement department will be happy to provide you with a list of contacts and student job offers.

For those students who are interested, we also offer them opportunities to become School Ambassadors, undertaking paid promotional activities outside their study schedule.
