Our mission is to train efficient and responsible business development managers who are able to operate successfully in a complex, digital and international environment. To achieve this, we welcome students from all horizons thanks to our commitment to widening participation, and offer them an innovative learning approach, personalized support and supervision as well as a powerful intercultural dimension.
Three values guide our operations and initiatives.
Our learning approach enables us to go beyond just doing the ‘bare minimum’ by welcoming students from all horizons and offering them opportunities during their studies to discover a broad range of international, artistic, cultural and sporting inputs.
Our wish is to enable each student to successfully construct both their career and life project. To achieve this, students are able to personalise their learning programme and benefit from an individual support system.
We encourage our students to develop a highly professional approach to what they do. This is achieved by a pedagogical approach that largely focuses on learning by doing. The projects, challenges, case studies and simulations carried out by students enable them to naturally combine practice with theory.

The school’s senior management team and the board of directors are supported in their work by two advisory bodies.
THE PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY BOARD
The board is made up of approximately 20 general managers or sales managers from major industrial or service groups representing their company or professional body (Adetem, Cercle du Marketing Client). Its members assist the ICD senior management team with strategic questions related to the evolution of sales and marketing professions and the impact on courses and training programmes run by the school.
THE SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD
This board oversees ICD’s research policy and ensures the coordination between the school’s research and teaching activities.
RESEARCH SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW PROGRAMMES
The teams at ICD collaborate closely with our Applied Research Laboratory (LaRA-ICD) to develop new programmes of study, new teaching content and new learning approaches.
LaRA’s research teams focus their work on two main areas of research: ‘The impact of digital technologies on the evolution of customer relations’ and ‘Innovation in customer-supplier relations’
