Governance

Our work is guided by a powerful set of values and a senior management team committed to train efficient business development managers who are able to operate successfully in a complex environment.

Mission

Our mission is to train future professionals in the art of responsible business, offering them the skills and expertise to play an active role in the development of organisations and contribute to a sustainable economy in a digital and international environment. ICD prepares students to work together differently in a complex and unpredictable world, by promoting social commitment and cultural openness while upholding ethical values and embracing diversity.

Values

Three values guide our operations and initiatives.

Humanism

For our belief in the potential of each individual and our quest for a caring and supportive way of living together.

Commitment

For our constant quest for quality in our training courses and our desire to adopt a responsible attitude that respects the environment.

Opening

For our curiosity about other people and places, and our approach to accessibility for as many people as possible.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board consists of five members:

  • A representative from the Board of Directors of the Institut de Gestion Sociale association
  • The Director of the Schools Division
  • The Director of the Business School & Management programs
  • The Director of Faculty and Research
  • An independent member external to ICD and the IGENSIA Education Group

The school's leadership and the Advisory Board rely on two advisory bodies to guide their strategic decisions.

THE PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY BOARD

The board is made up of approximately 20 general managers or sales directors from major industrial or service groups representing their company or professional body (Adetem, Cercle du Marketing Client). Their members assist the ICD senior management team with strategic questions related to the evolution of sales and marketing professions and the impact on courses and training programmes run by the school.

THE SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD

This board oversees ICD’s research policy and ensures the coordination between the school’s research and teaching activities.

ICD’S RESEARCH SUPPORTS THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW PROGRAMMES

ICD Business School’s research policy is structured around four interdisciplinary pillars, aligning with our strategic academic focus on key societal and business challenges:

  • Marketing, Innovation & Commerce
  • CSR, Ethics & the Anthropocene
  • Pedagogical Innovation
  • Center for Data & AI Expertise

These pillars are deeply embedded within the school’s academic ecosystem, ensuring that research insights continuously inform and enhance teaching excellence at ICD Business School.
