The Business Development pathway enables you to specialize in sales, marketing and development, and gain solid professional experience through work-study. The ICD Business School's Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences, Path Business Development, offers rapid professionalization and an international academic pathway conferring the Grade de Licence and recognition by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Year 1

You're currently in your final year of high school!

To enter the first year, you must take the ICD Business School entrance exam or the "Études en France" process. ICD Business School will send you details of how to take the written and oral exams once you've made your choices, according to the timetable provided by your school.

  • Requirements: Baccalauréat or equivalent

Years 2 and 3

If you wish to enter the second or third year, you must register directly with the ICD Business School. All you need to do is return your application to the ICD Business School at least 7 days before the date of your chosen entrance exam. You will then receive an invitation to sit the written and oral exams on the ICD Business School campus on the same day.

  • Year 2 requirements : Baccalauréat and a certificate of successful completion of a first year of studies (60 ECTS acquired) related to the program options.
  • Year 3 requirements : Baccalaureate and a degree or diploma validating a Bac+2 cycle (120 ECTS acquired at another institution, BTS, Licence 2, etc.) in line with the program options

What are the prerequisites for admission to the program?

  • Admission to 1st year: Candidates holding a general or technological baccalaureate (or equivalent qualification) at the start of the academic year
  • Admission to 2nd year: Candidates with a general or technological baccalaureate and a certificate of successful completion (60 ECTS acquired) of a first year of studies related to the Sales and Marketing Development Manager certification options
  • Admission to 3rd year: Candidates with a BTS, DUT, level 5 diploma, Licence 2, candidates who have completed two years of preparatory classes, or a certified diploma with 120 validated credits

How long does the program last?

  • 12 months, 512 hours a year

Within the framework of an apprenticeship or professionalization contract, the cost of training is financed via the company's OPCO (according to the level of funding established).

No training or registration fees are charged to the beneficiary.

The company pays the apprentice (SMIC percentage, depending on age).

Entry deadlines

The admissions jury meets after each session and results are communicated to candidates no later than two weeks after the tests.

Admitted candidates are then invited to confirm their registration.

Candidates who are not admitted may not take part in another session of the competition in the same year.

What are the goals of the program?

The holder of this diploma can exercise managerial and/or expert functions in the fields of omnichannel sales, sales development and operational marketing, within any type of company and business sector.

The aim of this certification is to acquire the operational "business" skills as well as the transversal and reflexive skills required for an autonomous and progressive manager, capable of acting in project mode.

What are the evaluation methods used?

The assessment methods used enable us to verify the acquisition of all the skills, knowledge, skills and competency blocks that make up the diploma.

These elements are assessed by means of continuous assessment, on the one hand, and partial assessments or deliverables (oral and written presentations), on the other at the end of each module.

Students are also required to write an introductory research dissertation at the end of 3rd year.

Make-up exams are organized where necessary.

Partial validation by skill block is not possible.

Are the courses accessible to people with disabilities?

The ICD relies on Hand'IGS, the IGENSIA Education Groupe's disability program, to help accommodate students with disabilities. Accommodations are studied on a case-by-case basis. The campus is accessible to people with disabilities.
