A look back at an unforgettable Kick-Off
For one week, our first year icédiens had the opportunity to participate in a pre-reentry seminar in the archipelago of Malta. The objective of this trip was to familiarize our new students with the international values of the ICD Business School and to begin their integration into the big icédienne family.
EXCURSIONS, VISITS AND FREE TIME
The ICD Business School Kick-Off is a unique moment during which our icédiens can discover extraordinary places. This was the case this year with the discovery of Comino or "Kemmuna" in Maltese, a small island of 2.7km². Our icédiens visited an animal sanctuary, a nature reserve and the famous Blue Lagoon located between Comino and Cominotto, another small island. The island tour ended with a visit to the magnificent St. Mary's Tower, the most emblematic and visible structure in Comino.
How can you stay in Malta without taking the time to visit Valletta, the capital of the archipelago? This sumptuous walled city is known for its various museums, palaces and imposing churches. An activity rich in culture that allowed our icédiens to discover new horizons.
THE CONFERENCES
On the educational level, our icédiens had the opportunity to attend a series of lectures given by directors or speakers at the Parliament of Malta. These seminars aimed to enrich the knowledge of our students and to lay the foundations for the notions they will learn throughout the year.
WORKSHOPS
During this pre-school week, our students also worked on a project called "Project Malta". Spread throughout the week in various workshops, our students had to mobilize all their knowledge of business and marketing and learn to work in groups to complete their project.
