What is FNEGE?

The FNEGE is a French foundation dedicated to excellence in the fields of Education and Research in Management of Sciences. Its mission is to increase the quality of higher education in management in order to bring it to a level similar to that of the major industrialized countries. Each year, it recognizes the work of teacher-researchers by rewarding innovation through their teaching methods, their books, their case studies or their theses.

Last year, ICD Business School Paris competed for the Best Pedagogical Device Award in the data challenge category alongside the barometer and soft skills conference category.

Romain ZERBIB, in charge of pedagogical innovation and teacher-researcher at ICD Business School Paris, has developed a new pedagogical tool: a challenge allowing students to understand digital marketing in a playful dimension. This innovative pedagogical device allowed him to obtain the FNEGE label. This is its second recognition in two years!

The winning challenge!

Romain's data challenge, entitled "Promote or Perish Challenge", is an immersive device based on a company project to ensure that the company's skills are recognized by the market. This module is intended to be carried out through a memorable and enjoyable experience!
Throughout this mission, the students sit in the position of Digital Marketing Director of the Management & Data Science platform. They are mandated to design and develop a whole digital strategy to promote the articles published on the platform. Those who produce the best engagement rate on the article win the challenge!

Through this pedagogical device, students benefit from training in audience measurement tools and learn to combine technical and transversal skills (analysis, creativity, teamwork...), which allows them to expand their fields of action!
