“BIENVENUE EN FRANCE”, WELCOMING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Did you know that, according to a study by Campus France, there are nearly 5,600,000 mobile students in the world and that Europe is the number 1 region for mobility? There are thus 370,000 students in France, seduced by the quality of the courses provided, particularly in business schools which are particularly successful. It is in this context that the "Bienvenue en France" label was created in 2019 in order to enhance the quality of the reception of foreign students in France. Breaking this label down with the ICD Business School, which benefits from its quality.

A LABEL WHICH HIGHLIGHT THE QUALITY OF WELCOMING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

“Bienvenue en France” is a label issued by Campus France. Its main objective is to highlight higher education institutions that are implementing measures aimed at offering a quality welcome to international students.

To do this, these establishments first carry out an online self-assessment, also providing a file of “evidence”. Visits are then carried out by experts who grant (or not) the label according to their observations, but also by consulting international students. The criteria taken into consideration are the following:

  • quality and accessibility of information on the establishment;
  • quality and accessibility of reception facilities;
  • accessibility and support in teaching;
  • housing and quality of life on campus;
  • quality of follow-up after graduation.
  • The label is then issued for 4 years by Campus France. It is also validated by an independent commission.
