An academic mobility focused on responsibility

As part of a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) orgazed by Riga Technical University, our students participated in a week of courses dedicated to the theme “Responsibility and Business Ethics.”

The programme included classes on business ethics, responsible branding, and social responsibility, as well as two company visits: State Real Estate and Madara Cosmetics, providing practical insights into the topics covered. This mobility also featured a presentation by Nathalie Berthe-Samson, International Relations Manager in Toulouse, on the CSR policy of Groupe IGENSIA and its implementation.

A European partnership fostering exchanges

Riga Technical University, particularly its Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management, regularly welcomes international students through collaborative programmes.

This BIP brought together several partner institutions, including Odisee University of Applied Sciences and Baltazar Zaprešić University, encouraging intercultural and academic exchanges between European students. These collaborations are fully aligned with the Erasmus+ programme, which promotes mobility and the sharing of best practices across institutions.

A valuable experience for students and the school

Taking part in an international mobility programme represents a major opportunity for both personal and professional development. It allows students to discover new academic environments, broaden their perspectives, and strengthen their intercultural skills.

For ICD Business School, these initiatives actively contribute to the international dimension of its programmes and to educating future professionals who are aware of global challenges. They also reflect the school’s commitment to social responsibility and European cooperation.

Conclusion

Through this experience in Riga, ICD Business School reaffirms its ambition to offer internationally enriched pathways. These mobility programmes help shape students who are ready to thrive in multicultural environments and address the challenges of today’s professional world.
