Jonathan Yvonne, alumni and Brand Content Director at Topito

Introduce yourself.

My name is Jonathan Yvonne, I'm 34 years old, 1.87m tall and weigh 83kg. I have published a fantasy novel called Sam et le Secret des Âmes. I don't like gingerbread and I run 10km in 32 min which is not that great.

Why did you choose ICD Business School Paris for your graduate studies? What did you learn from it?

Like 80% of high school students, I didn't know what I wanted to do later on, so I chose the path that would close as few doors as possible. The icing on the cake was that the ICD allowed me to learn, travel and gain experience in a company in 5 years.

What did the international course at the ICD Business School bring you?

Extraordinary and often hazy memories. I also built a professional network abroad that I continue to maintain regularly.

What is your job? What are the challenges of your job?

I am the Brand Content Account Director at Topito. Topito is one of the biggest entertainment media in France today. Our daily work is to create funny content on all the subjects that come to mind.
My job is to select and accompany companies/partners who need to gain visibility among our community (18-44 years old) and to create viral and funny content for them that meets their communication needs.

How did the ICD Business School prepare you for your professional career?

The possibility of doing part of the curriculum in a work-study program gives us a chance to take our first step in the business world and thus, to arrive a little more armed in the professional jungle.

Which skill learned during your course at the ICD Business School is the most useful in your professional life?

We had a lot of group exams, and since I was not necessarily the one who contributed the most to the project, I was often the one who had to make the oral presentations... Today, not being afraid to speak in front of several people is a real advantage in my daily life.

Why did you choose France for your professional career?

More by opportunity than by choice. I can see myself working abroad for a few years in the coming years, months, hours.

What inspires you in your job?

My manager is my biggest source of inspiration.
And I'm not just saying that because she sets my variables

If you had one piece of advice for our students, what would it be?

Make the most of it! You're going to miss sitting around for 8 hours a day watching someone work to teach you things; unless you become the worst kind of employee.
