A Remarkable Performance at the Groupe IGENSIA Education Eloquence Contest
On Tuesday, March 11th, the Théâtre de la Madeleine hosted the grand finale of the Groupe IGENSIA Education Eloquence Contest. For this fifth edition, seven finalists competed in a demanding public speaking exercise, selected from 550 candidates. This evening, marked by powerful and engaging speeches, showcased the talent and determination of the group's students.

A Prestigious Competition and an Exceptional Jury
The Groupe IGENSIA Education Eloquence Contest is a key event that allows students from all disciplines to demonstrate their oratory talent and ability to persuade. This year, seven finalists from different schools within the group took on the challenge with excellence:
- Cindy Clement - IGENSIA Alternance - HR,
- Thomas Chartier - IMSI,
- Marc-Henry Mercier - ISCPA,
- Maryatou Dabo - ICD Business School, Bachelor Conseiller Clientèle Omnicanal, Bancassurance, completing her work-study program at Crédit Agricole Île-de-France,
- Tina Depaye - IGS-RH,
- Clément-Joseph Tambrun - IGENSIA Alternance - Management Finance,
- Philippe Fargeon Epoupammony - ESAM.
To evaluate them, an outstanding jury composed of professionals from the corporate and academic worlds was present:
- Samuel Liegau - 2024 Eloquence Contest winner (IMSI),
- Audrey Colnat - Project Manager at ANLCI,
- Sami Belhadj - ISCPA Director and Campus Manager in Paris,
- Sophie Hocquaux - Head of Service Offering Engineering, OPCO Entreprises de Proximité.
A Thrilling Finale and Well-Deserved Recognition for Maryatou Dabo
The finalists each took the stage to speak on a variety of topics, demonstrating their engagement and creativity. Maryatou Dabo distinguished herself by delivering a speech based on a quote from Titus: "Have I used my time well?" Her eloquence and depth of analysis earned her third place in the contest, as well as the Commitment Award, recognizing her dedication and the relevance of her speech.
At the end of the evening, the final ranking was announced:
- 🥇 1st place: Thomas Chartier (IMSI)
- 🥈 2nd place: Marc-Henry Mercier (ISCPA)
- 🥉 3rd place: Maryatou Dabo (ICD Business School)
Special prizes were also awarded to recognize the participants' different qualities, such as emotion, style, humor, and writing skills. A musical performance by Grace Nyamoah, an apprentice at ESAM Paris, added a memorable touch to the evening.

Beyond the competition, this contest provides a unique opportunity for students to hone their public speaking skills—an essential asset in the professional world. Eloquence is a major strength in careers in banking, commerce, and management, helping participants develop confidence, argumentation skills, and persuasive abilities.
