Three experiences abroad and on campus to open up to the world
Since the beginning of the year, students from the Toulouse campus of ICD Business School have taken part in several international mobility programs. Between an immersion in Romania, an innovative program on campus, and a semester in the heart of England, these experiences highlight the importance of international exposure in their academic journey.
An intercultural immersion in Cluj
Second-year students took part in a Blended Intensive Program in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, organized by the Faculty of Business of Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB). Working on a real-life project related to the Transilvania International Film Festival, they collaborated in international teams to improve the ticketing experience of a festival, using concepts such as marketing, gamification, and behavioral economics. This experience enabled them to develop their skills while discovering a new cultural environment.
A creative project in the heart of Toulouse
On the Toulouse campus, the BIP “The Anthropocene Hotel” invited students to reflect on environmental challenges in the hospitality sector. Through workshops, collaborative work, and role-playing activities, they imagined a hotel adapted to current ecological constraints. This program encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and experimentation in an international context.
An academic immersion in Coventry
Some students also had the opportunity to complete a semester at the partner university in Coventry. This mobility allowed them to attend courses in English, particularly in marketing, while discovering Anglo-Saxon culture. It was an enriching academic and personal experience that strengthened their adaptability and international outlook.
Experiences supporting student development
These international mobility programs fully contribute to the development of students’ skills: adaptability, intercultural communication, teamwork, and open-mindedness. They reflect ICD Business School’s commitment to offering professional and international pathways aligned with the expectations of the professional world. These experiences represent a real asset for students’ employability and future development.
Conclusion
Through these various mobility opportunities, students from the Toulouse campus benefit from concrete experiences to broaden their horizons and enrich their academic journey. ICD Business School thus reaffirms its commitment to internationalization and to supporting students towards globally oriented careers.
