An Academic Experience at the Heart of Europe

In early February, our fifth-year students from the Programme Grande École at ICD Business School, Toulouse campus, took part in a one-week academic mobility in Warsaw. Hosted by Kozminski University, a triple-accredited international partner institution, they experienced a programme combining academic courses, company visits and cultural discovery, with the support of the Erasmus+ programme for some of them.

International mobility : discovering Warsaw

A Triple-Accredited Partner University

The students were welcomed at Kozminski University, a Polish institution internationally recognised and triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA). These distinctions reflect a high level of academic standards and a strong commitment to international openness.

During the week, two groups followed an intensive programme consisting of academic lectures delivered by faculty members, plenary sessions and discussion-based exchanges. This immersion in a foreign academic environment enabled them to explore different teaching approaches and to compare their analyses within a distinct European context.

Erasmus+: Supporting International Mobility

Some of the students benefited from an Erasmus+ grant as part of this mobility. Erasmus+ is a European Union programme that supports student mobility across Europe by facilitating access to academic and cultural experiences abroad through financial assistance.

Beyond financial support, Erasmus+ encourages the development of intercultural, linguistic and professional skills, strengthening students’ ability to evolve in an international environment.

A Week of Academic and Professional Immersion

The programme included intensive courses, visits around the city of Warsaw, official ceremonies and meetings with local economic stakeholders. Students from the first group notably visited CITI, while the second group discovered the Chocolate Factory E.Wedel.

These highlights enabled students to connect theoretical knowledge with concrete economic realities, while enhancing their adaptability in an international setting. This mobility experience acts as a strong professional development lever and deepens their understanding of global management challenges.

Strategic Partnerships Serving International Openness

Through this partnership with Kozminski University, ICD Business School reaffirms its commitment to providing an education open to the world. Academic mobility opportunities allow students to broaden their perspectives, expand their international network and strengthen their employability.
