The Commission d'Evaluation des Formations et Diplômes de Gestion (CEFDG) has once more granted recognition to the ICD Business School, by awarding it the Grade de Licence (Bachelor Degree) for a 2-year period. In France, only thirty or so business schools can claim to be able to graduate students with a Bachelor's degree, a guarantee of career insertion or further studies in the best institutions.

THE CEFDG, A COMMISSION MANDATED BY THE STATE TO EVALUATE MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS TRAINING.

The CEFDG is the sole national entity mandated and empowered by the State to evaluate management and business programmes. It is also responsible for accrediting tertiary institutions to award the Master degree and the Licence degree. The commission, which is under the authority of the Ministry of High Education, Innovation and Research, is in charge of evaluating the training institutions with regard to various criterias as follows :

  • the courses provided and the curriculum
  • the governance and organisation of the institution
  • the human, equipment and financial resources of the school
  • the academic resources and the permanent lecturers involved
  • the research activities undertaken
  • the relevance of the training to the market's demands
  • openness and international opportunities
  • pedagogical innovation

THE BACHELOR  DEGREE: A STEPPING STONE TO EMPLOYMENT OR FURTHER STUDY
