Why choose Erasmus + ?

Do you want to give another dimension to your journey? Have a rewarding experience? Why not take one or more semesters abroad? The Erasmus + program offers you this great opportunity! The ICD Business School explains everything to you.

Erasmus +

ERASMUS +, AN ULTRA ENRICHING EXPERIENCE

You have obviously heard of Erasmus, even if only through the famous film by Cédric Klapisch "Pot Luck"! This European program aims to facilitate your mobility and exchanges in order to complete one or two semesters abroad.

And the success is there: 12 million people have benefited from the program since its creation and the French agency Erasmus + estimates that there could be only 10 million over the period 2021-2027!

Why choose Erasmus +?

  • Discover a culture and a country.
  • Improve your language level.
  • Learn with another pedagogy.
  • Discover different working methods.
  • Meet new people and develop your network.
  • Become independent.
  • Boost your self-confidence.
  • Develop your qualities: maturity, autonomy, adaptability, flexibility.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR ERASMUS +?

To be able to enroll in the program, you must be enrolled in a higher education establishment that has signed the Erasmus + chart, such as the ICD Business School, which also strongly encourages mobility, particularly within its partner universities.

A language test will allow you to check your level and you can then establish a wish list of the countries in which you would like to go. All you have to do is complete an application file before having a possible interview with a jury.

As part of your Erasmus + mobility, you have the choice between 33 countries:

  • The 27 Member States of the European Union;
  • Iceland;
  • Liechtenstein;
  • North Macedonia;
  • Norway ;
  • Serbia;
  • Turkey.

Note that you can benefit from an Erasmus + grant (under certain conditions) to finance your project, its amount depends on the duration of your stay abroad and your host country. This aid is a contribution to the costs related to your mobility (and your registration fees at your host university will be covered). You can also apply for other aid, in particular from certain ministries or regional councils, as well as the Crous scholarship based on social criteria.

The ICD Business School makes every effort to encourage you to go abroad, whether for an academic stay or an internship. Aware of the challenges linked to an increasingly internationally oriented context, the school supports you throughout your career, making sure to offer you a multicultural environment.
